Our Room – Executive Premier
The room in which we stayed was one of the ‘Executive Premier’ rooms. At 45sqm it can fit a workspace, large bed, couch and coffee table whilst still feeling exceptionally spacious. Every detail of the room was well thought out, it was immaculate and beyond comfortable.
Our complimentary minibar was a nice touch with popular soft drinks and snacks which were replenished each day. There was a great selection of hot drinks including espresso pods to be used in our rooms own coffee machine.
The bathroom in our room was, again, immaculate and very spacious. At one end there is an elegant bath with a large window offering great views of Penang Hill. The other end has a large shower that boasts perfect water pressure and great temperature control.
Another standout feature is the Australian imported toiletries. The eco-friendly Appelles toiletries are a luxury touch to make your stay that bit grander.

It would be unfair to only focus on the hotel’s facilities and not give credit to their incredible hospitality. The hotel’s staff really make G Hotel Kelawai what it is, a luxury hotel. The moment we entered the hotel until the moment we left, all staff were friendly, smiling, professional and attentive. Small touches, such as bringing afternoon cookies to your room, enhance your stay at the hotel.
